Gareth Williams has been part of the Fire & Security industry since 2008, beginning his career as an apprentice in what was originally intended to be a temporary role. After completing his three-year apprenticeship in just one year and achieving his City & Guilds qualifications alongside NVQ Levels 2 and 3, Gareth progressed through the industry to become Co-Owner and Partner of Crosby Intruder Alarms, the family-run installation business.
Alongside running Crosby Intruder Alarms, Gareth has developed a strong passion for training and education. Since 2020, he has been a Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Tutor and Technical Training Advisor with North West Training Council, delivering the FESS Apprenticeship and helping develop the next generation of engineers.
Gareth also delivers professional Fire & Security training for Tavcom Training, teaching from its Shipley and Birmingham Training Centres. With his experience spanning hands-on installation, business management and technical training, Gareth is passionate about sharing practical knowledge and helping others develop within an industry that is constantly evolving.
Gareth’s combination of practical industry experience and technical training gives him a valuable perspective on how the Fire & Security sector is evolving. Passionate about new technology and the development of the next generation of engineers, Gareth enjoys sharing his knowledge and bringing real-world insight to the conversations shaping the future of the industry.
